Middle Schooler Is First for Freedom

Middle school student Sarah Davidman, now in eighth grade, was recognized recently as the seventh-grade winner of the annual AMVETS National Americanism Essay Contest. Tackling the theme “What Freedom Looks Like to Me,” Davidman’s essay won first place within the district, as chosen by the the AMVETS Lady Auxiliary, as well as for New York State.
