New York State Sen. Tom Croci recently provided $20,000 in unrestricted state education aid, known as Bullet Aid, for the dstrict, which was used to enroll seven students in East Islip’s prekindergarten program offered by the South Shore Preschool for Early Childhood Education in Islip Terrace. The chosen students were selected from the district’s UPK lottery waiting list.

“The senator realizes the importance of getting students into a positive learning environment at an early age,” said Superintendent John V. Dolan, who toured the preschool with Sen. Croci. “We truly appreciate all his help in supporting and promoting education in East Islip and across the state.”
