East Islip High School's Mock Trial Team did it again, defeating cross-town rivals Central Islip on March 21 in the Suffolk semifinals. East Islip will vie next week for the Suffolk County championship against William Floyd High School. The competition will take place on March 27 at 3:15 p.m. at Federal Court in Central Islip. Spectators are welcome. 

"This is the third time in five years that EI has made it to the Suffolk finals," said advisor Patricia Lester. "We won in 2008, but in 2009 we lost in a very close contest. The students are really looking forward to this year, when we hope to repeat our 2008 victory!"
