The baseball team lost 4-3 on March 30, at home against Half Hollow Hills East. John Dondero was the pitcher for East Islip.

In a March 30 away game at Centereach, East Islip’s softball team crushed their opponent 12-2 behind the strong pitching of Courtney Blake (9 strikeouts). Scorers included Alexa Martino (3-for-4 with 4 runs scored), Kelsey Fileccia (a home run) and Faith Padro (3-for-4 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored).

East Islip’s boys lacrosse team swamped Brentwood under a flurry of goals on March 31, beating them 16-2 on East Islip’s field. Strong play from goalies Sean Sconone (4 saves) and Robert Rohan (3 saves) helped secure the victory, as did Matt Walter winning 13 of 14 faceoffs. EI scorers were Shawn Cummings (4 goals, 1 assist), Tyler Rigo (4 goals, 1 assist), Robert Sconone (2 goals, 3 assists), Jack Hannigan (1 goal),  Ross Vandenburg (1 goal), Sean Guzzetta (1 goal), Bobby Kenney (1 goal), Troy Revello (1 goal), Walter (1 goal), Tyler Mittleman (1 assist) and Matt Drywa (1 assist).

In a March 31 non-division game at Bayport-Blue Point, the girls lacrosse team won 12-9. An unassisted Nicole Levy goal tied it up at 9-9 with 6:49 remaining, broken by Elizabeth Vetter’s third goal of the contest with 4:04 left. Scorers were Vetter (3 goals, 1 assist), Levy (2 goals, 4 assists), Jackie Niciforo (2 goals, 1 assist), Victoria Gregson (2 goals), Shannon Cummings (2 goals) and Carlee Ancona (1 goal, 2 assists).
