On April 17, the varsity Redmen fell to Northport 16-3. Anthony Diesu, Joe Modica and Sean Spruyt each scored a goal, while Tyler Rigo added 2 assists. In goal, Robert Rohan made 8 saves and Sean Sconone made 5.
East Islip lost 13-5 to Sachem East on April 19, despite goalie Rohan’s 12 saves. Scorers for EI were Spruyt (2 goals), Rigo (1 goal, 1 assist), Jack Hannigan (1 goal), Troy Revello (1 goal), Robert Sconone (2 assists) and Modica (1 assist).

The girls varsity lacrosse team won two solid victories, first beating West Islip 14-9 on April 16, led by Victoria Gregson’s five goals. Other scorers were Nicole Levy (2 goals, 4 assists), Lisa Olen (2 goals, 3 assists), Jackie Niciforo (2 goals), Carlee Ancona (1 goal, 1 assist), Elizabeth Vetter (1 goals, 1 assist) and Shannon Cummings (1 goal). Goalie Krista Ancona made 11 saves.
On April 18, the team demolished Commack 19-3, highlighted by Levy’s career-high 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) and another 5-goal performance by Gregson. Other scorers: Carlee Ancona (4 goals, 1 assist), Niciforo (2 goals), Vetter (2 goals), Olen (1 goal, 2 assists) and Cummings (1 goals, 2 assists). Goalie Lee-Ann Salim made 5 saves; Krista Ancona made 3.
The varsity baseball squad beat Smithtown West 10-4 on April 17, led by the Dondero brothers. John Dondero had 6 strikeouts, allowed only 2 earned runs, and went 3-for-5 with 4 RBI, while his brother Paul went 3-for-3.
They beat Smithtown West a second time on April 18, with Ken Rotunno as the winning pitcher for EI. Nick Osburn homered.

Smithtown West eked out a narrow 4-3 win over East Islip’s softball team on April 17, but EI bounced back on April 18, beating Deer Park 6-2. Alyssa Groneman hit a base-clearing triple in the top of the fourth inning. Courtney Blake was the winning pitcher.
The boys tennis team lost 4-3 to Bay Shore on April 17. Andrew Hegarty was defeated by Miles Bromfield in the deciding match at fourth singles, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
On April 19, EI was beaten 5-2 by West Islip. Aiden McGovern and Mohammed Wugor lost to Mike Capone and Jonny Loughlin 7-5, 6-4 at third doubles.

East Islip’s girls golf team shut out Deer Park 9-0 on April 17, then blanked West Babylon 9-0 on April 19. In the latter contest, Rachel Maretsky shot 11-over 27 at Sumpwams.
