The EJ Autism Foundation's fourth annual Black Tie Hoodie Event will be held on Dec. 5 at Captain Bill's in Bay Shore from 7-10 p.m.

Proceeds will help fund the LIAM Foundation and EJ Autism’s work in supporting children with special needs in the East Islip School District. To date the foundation has donated extensively to the district and to 30 other programs on Long Island, including 92 iPads given to programs throughout Long Island that support children with autism, 24 of those in the East Islip School District.

"Our event is formally informal but you must wear a hoodie to attend," said EJ Autism founder Bea Huste-Petersen. "Last year we had 260 guests and were featured in Newsday's 'What They're Wearing' style section. Please join us – we make a difference and you can be part of it!!"

Tickets are $50 and include open bar, food, live music, raffles and a souvenir video. Checks should be made out to EJAF and sent to: EJAF, P.O. Box 464, East Islip, NY 11730.
