presented with the budget adoption at the April 23 Board of Education meeting, is available to
Showcasing the outstanding work of the East Islip Middle School Builders Club and adviser Rena Costello, the W20 Foundation and Project Team Up 4 Community have compiled a video highlighting the club's recent community service efforts on behalf of overseas troops, and posted it as part of the L.I. Spring Sports Heroes Video Challenge. First place in the contest will win a $3,000 grant, with second and third offering $1,500 and $500 grants, respectively. Students, school staff, friends and family members can vote for the Builder Club entry here. Voting will take place until April 30. when the 10 videos that received the most votes will go on to a final round of public voting on May 2-3 to choose the three grant winners.

The East Islip Big Egg Hunt begins on Saturday, March 28 and runs through April 28. Participating stores will “hide” the eggs until their secret date to display them publicly. The first East Islip student to see an egg will be recognized on the certificate accompanying the egg and will get a small gift/treat from the store it is found in.
