According to a letter from Suffolk County Police Department Det. Margaret Kirk, a new format requires community members to access information on Level 2 and Level 3 sex offender directly from the Department of Criminal Justice website. Information on Level 1 offenders is updated and viewable on the district website here.
The East Islip Middle School PTA will present the annual Sports Night on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 7-8:30 p.m. Admission is free and includes one raffle ticket. Attendees can receive a second raffle ticket by bringing an item (see attached wish list) to donate to the Ronald McDonald House.

SEPTO's fifth annual Snowflake fundraiser is set for Friday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall. A ticket form is attached below. The organization is requesting basket donations (see attached letter), as well as student snowflake artwork for the event (see the attached fliers, one for grades K-2 and the other for grades 3-5).
The East Islip Board of Education's next monthly business meeting will
take place Thursday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. in the district office boardroom at 1
Craig B. Gariepy Ave. in Islip Terrace. It will be preceded by an executive session at 6 p.m. The community is welcome to attend.
