Our Freshman Orientation, that has been planned for students only, will be held on Tuesday, August 31^st, at 9:00 AM in the high school auditorium.  Please note that this is a change from what is indicated on the 2009-2010 district calendar.  This is an important program that all students are encouraged to attend.  During the orientation, students will be addressed by internet safety expert, Keith Dunn who will speak to the students about the dangers associated with sexting, internet predators and good decision making.  In addition, Mr. Dunn will speak with the students about getting involved in the total school program as a means of staying safe and out of trouble.  Our program will also include an opportunity for your child to meet with his or her guidance counselor, learn about high school life from the perspective of student peer leaders and a tour of the building.  At the conclusion of the orientation program the building will be remain open, so students can prep their lockers, find their classrooms and prepare for the first day of school.  I hope that your child will be able to attend what will be a very helpful and informative program.  

Please note also that the school store will be open for students to purchase school supplies and/or spirit wear!!  Please see the attached flyer regarding our school store.
