East Islip High School students Christian Brabender, Ryan Deveraux, Robert Graziano, Ryan Jacobsen and Ruelin Man-Martinez participated in the Long Island Physics Teachers Association’s 2022 Physics Olympics, held on March 18 at Smithtown East High School. The annual LIPTA event returned after a two-year break due to the pandemic. After placing first in the Aerial Accuracy contest, and third in the Physics Bowl, East Islip’s team finished third overall in the contest.
