East Islip High School’s Class of 2022 salutatorian is Miranda Stockton.

An AP Scholar with Distinction and AP Capstone Diploma recipient, Stockton earned a 107.706 GPA. She serves as treasurer of the Math Honor Society and historian of the Science Honor Society, and is a member of the National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society.

As a musician, Stockton played in the school’s wind ensemble for two years and was a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society.
An accomplished athlete, she serves as varsity girls volleyball team captain and earned All-League, All-County Tournament Award and High Minds in Motion designation.

Stockton will attend Binghamton University, majoring in biology.
