A year of hard work and skill-building paid off for the young musicians of East Islip, as students from East Islip High School, East Islip Middle School, John F. Kennedy Elementary School and Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School put on remarkable performances in a series of spring concerts during May. The final conducting appearances by retiring JFK band teacher Ronald Fox, and the East Islip High School Concert Choir’s rendition of Bob Dylan’s “To Make You Feel My Love,” dedicated to the memory of late former student Carli Fragala, were just two of the many highlights.
