Fourth-Graders Find Fun with Footballs at JFK
Fourth-graders at JFK tapped in to the excitement of the football season in a recent physical education class, participating in catching and throwing footballs. The students were excited to learn the art of throwing a perfect spiral, with teacher Jennie Nagengast encouraging them to focus on the key technique of placing their fingers on the laces of the ball and forming an “L” with their thumb and index finger.

“It was fun to see how quickly the students improved after passing back and forth,” said Principal Deborah Smith. “Go Redmen!”
