EIMS Moving Up Ceremony

Dear Students and Parents,

As we navigate these times of great uncertainty, we do so together.  The Guidance staff at the Middle and High School will be actively monitoring their respective emails to continue to serve the students and families in our charge.
Please be aware of the following important pieces of information:

1. The deadline for Local Scholarship submission has been extended to April 2, 2020 at this time.  We invite all seniors to visit our high school guidance page and complete applications for any scholarships that interest them.  We would also remind seniors the deadlines for most national scholarships have not passed.  You can use any of the search engines linked on the HS Guidance Webpage/Scholarships and also visit the scholarship announcements on the main HS page to view any scholarships added through Remind.  As the new deadline approaches, we will address the method (s) to submit the applications.

2. The Guidance Staff at several points throughout the school year pushes into classrooms or plans small group/individual sessions with their students to complete a variety of activities to ensure they are career and college ready.  To that point, the counselors are working tirelessly to make connected experiences for their students to participate in while at home.  They can be located by clicking the counselor’s name in the staff directory of the middle school or high school.

3. A message went out via Naviance and Infinite Campus messenger regarding SAT preparation through method test prep.  Below is the information in case you did not receive the email:

Join us for LIVE ACT or SAT mini-lessons with Method Test Prep's expert teachers to help students stay engaged and focused during extended school closures. Each day, we will be presenting at 11 am Eastern/10 am Central.
Simply go to Method Test Prep's Facebook page at 11 am Eastern for this live instruction.
