Fair Funding Campaign: With the Board of Education’s endorsement, the East Islip School
District has initiated a fair funding email campaign directed at our
representatives in state government. This campaign is intended to
address the inequality in New York State aid distributed to local school
districts. For complete instructions on how to participate in the email campaign, please visit the district website’s Advocate for Fair Funding page and add your voice to the call for equitable funding for East Islip and Long Island.
National Junior Honor Society: There is a NJHS meeting on Friday, May 18
at 7:30 a.m. in the chorus room.
Pancake Dinner Fundraiser: The East Islip Middle School PTA will hold a Pancake Dinner Fundraiser on Friday, May 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
Renaissance Club: The Renaissance Club meeting for May 22 is canceled. The next meeting will be on May 29 in Room 108. Seventh and eighth-grade Renaissance students (along with sixth-graders) can get their Renaissance prizes in Room 108 starting on Monday, May 14, before school, during homeroom and principal's time and after school.
