: The student government will be selling Thanksgiving-themed Hershey Bar Turkey Grams
during all lunch periods for $1 to allow the students of the middle school to show special friends how thankful they are to have the gift of their friendship. Proceeds will be used to buy gift cards for needy families in the East Islip community. All Turkey Grams will be delivered to B Day, Period 9 teachers before Thanksgiving. Students must know the teacher for each recipient. Turkey Grams will only be sold during lunch periods during the week of Nov. 17-21, andd there are only 200 available.
Bowling: For girls or boys interested in trying out for the bowling team,
there will be a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 6 in the cafeteria
at 2:45 p.m. Be sure to see the nurse about your screening and
physical. Tryouts will be on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at East Islip
Lanes at 3:30 p.m.
