A Beautiful Day for a Parade
-
The East Islip High School Concert Band and Wind Ensemble, led by Christopher Neske, met at the high school on March 5 to participate in East Islip’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in East Islip. Blessed with fantastic weather, the students had the opportunity to perform for thousands of residents and share in the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. The band was joined by Superintendent Paul Manzo and Assistant Superintendents Dr. Lisa Belz and Dr. Aileen O’Rourke.
“It was a beautiful day for a parade, and our students were thrilled to join our town to perform and march in this wonderful tradition,” said Dr. Rob Wottawa, East Islip’s art and music director.
