Running for a seat on the Board of Education

The East Islip School District Annual Budget and Trustee Election
Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

  

As of March 1, 2023, petitions to run for a seat on the Board of Education are available in the District Clerk's Office.

The following terms are expiring:

Two Three-year terms-William Carpluk and Christopher Zachry

Nominating petitions must be signed by at least 46 qualified voters for the 2023 Budget Vote. Candidates are urged to exceed the required number in case an audit reveals signatures that are not valid.
Petitions must be filed in the office of the District Clerk between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023.

District residents who are interested in running for a Board of Education position should contact Stephanie Parker (sparker@eischools.org) or Joanne Mann (jmann@eischools.org) or by calling 631-224-2013 to request a candidate packet/nominating petitions.
