NYS Excelsior Scholarship The Excelsior Scholarship provides tuition awards to eligible student attending New Your State's public colleges and universities (SUNY and CUNY). This scholarship, in combination with other student financial aid programs, allows students to attend a SUNY college tuition-free. Excelsior Scholarship Program information

NYS Scholarships for Academic Excellence Selection Criteria: The nominees for the NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence are chosen based on a students' weighted grade point average at the end of their junior year. Each school is given a set number of students who can be nominated based on the graduating class size. 

STEM Incentive Program: Seniors ranked in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class, who attend a SUNY or CUNY college in a program leading to a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics, may be eligible for the New York State STEM Incentive Program, which provides a full tuition scholarship and includes a service requirement.
