Annual Budget and Trustee Election
Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

  

As of Monday, March 2, 2026, petitions to run for a seat on the Board of Education are available in the District Clerk's Office at the John V. Dolan District Offices, 1 Craig B. Gariepy Avenue, Islip Terrace, NY  11752, 2^nd Floor.

 

The following terms are expiring:

 

Jessica Ciampi – 3 year term

Christopher Zachry – 3 year term

 

Nominating petitions must be signed by at least 47 qualified voters for the 2026 Budget Vote. Candidates are urged to exceed the required number in case an audit reveals signatures that are not valid.

 

Petitions must be filed in the Office of the District Clerk between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026.
