Timber Point celebrated Patriot Day on Sept. 11.

The youngest patriots in East Islip donned red, white and blue while participating enthusiastically in various physical education activities to commemorate Patriot Day at Timber Point Elementary School.
FTK recently donated book vending machines to each of the four elementary schools in the East Islip School District to promote reading.
East Islip’s secondary schools celebrated Constitution Day on Sept. 17.
East Islip kicked off the annual FTK Carnival on Sept. 20 with a special opening ceremony featuring musical performances from current chorus and string students of John F. Kennedy Elementary School and Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School as well as alumni from both schools.
East Islip High School recognized 70 current students for earning the College Board’s AP Scholar designation for 2024, recognizing their academic excellence and diligence in college-level achievement in AP courses and exams.
Closing out Spirit Week and preparing for the following morning's homecoming celebration, East Islip High School held a fun-filled pep rally at Sal Ciampi Field at Boomer Esiason Stadium on Sept. 27.
