Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School presented its annual art show on April 29 under the leadership of art teacher Dana O’Connell. Students in grades 3-5 displayed many of the fabulous pieces they have worked on this year. The show encompassed painting, drawing, printmaking and clay works, among other creations. Students who attended were treated to face painting, button making, sand art and other interactive stations where they could write letters to their friends or family and express their creativity.
“Our special thanks to the high school’s National Art Honor Society, the middle school’s Art Service Club and Principal Janet Jones for all their support in planning, preparing and executing the art show,” O’Connell said.
