Pumped-up East Islip High School students filed into the school's gym on Sept. 26, preparing for the following day's homecoming celebrations with a loud and proud pep rally hosted by Athletic Director Steve Restivo and Principal Anthony Montemarano. Cheers erupted as each of East Islip’s varsity fall sports teams were introduced, students and staff competed in games, and the school's band and cheerleaders performed with elan. 

“I’m hoping to see you all out here tomorrow, because today is a celebration of East Islip pride and an acknowledgement of all the hard work everyone has been putting in,” Montemarano said.
