East Islip’s students enjoyed an exciting first day of school on Sept. 5, returning to the district’s six buildings – East Islip High School, East Islip Middle School, John F. Kennedy Elementary School. Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School, Connetquot Elementary School and Timber Point Elementary School – to begin a new year of learning and growth.
“The first day of school is always such an exciting day,” Timber Point Principal Danielle Naccarato said. “Smiles and joy filled the halls at Timber Point. We are all looking forward to a great year ahead.”
“It was wonderful to see everyone so excited to start the school year,” JFK Principal Dr. Deborah Smith said. “Smiles were seen throughout the building as new students were welcomed and those returning visited their teachers from last year and reunited with friends. It was a festive day as the JFK community celebrated a new year for learning.”
“The middle school team is excited to have all of our kids back in the building, and we are looking forward to a great year,” Principal Anthony Montemarano said.
