It was another great, positive summer for students enrolled in the East Islip School District’s Extended School Year program. The ESY program provides services to students with disabilities during breaks such as summer vacation, helping them maintain the skills they learned during the prior school year and assisting them in progressing in their Individualized Education Program goals.

“Our students and staff enjoyed each day of learning,” Timber Point Elementary School Principal Danielle Naccarato said. “We are lucky to have this program for our students here in East Islip.”
