Rosanne Sorrentino, who played the orphan Pepper in the 1982 film “Annie,” recently visited the cast of the RCK Drama Club production of “Annie Kids.” Sorrentino spoke with students about her experiences as a young actress, including what it was like to work alongside stars such as Carol Burnett.

Cast members had the chance to ask thoughtful questions, and Sorrentino enthusiastically engaged with each student. She even joined the group in singing several songs the club has been rehearsing for its upcoming Jan. 14 performances. Before departing, she signed numerous autographs for the excited young performers.

“I am very thankful that my students had the terrific opportunity to participate in such a memorable event,” Drama Club adviser Dennis Clancy said.
