East Islip High School celebrated its annual Decision Day on May 1, honoring the achievements and future plans of the Class of 2025. Students proudly wore shirts, hats and gear representing their next steps – ranging from four-year colleges and community schools to the military and trade programs. The junior photography students – Emma Blandino, Marcus Duncan and Anthony Felix Freerick – volunteered to photograph the seniors outside in the courtyard. The day was all about recognizing the different directions students are heading and the support they have received along the way.
“Our students have worked incredibly hard, and today we recognize not only where they are going, but who they have become,” Director of Careers and Student Services Dr. Jason Stanton said. “Whether they’re heading to college, the workforce or service to our country, we are so proud of their accomplishments and excited for what lies ahead. A huge thank you to our school counseling team for helping make today such a meaningful and successful event, and to our talented photography students for capturing every moment so beautifully.”
