East Islip granted tenure to Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Administration Dr. Aileen O’Rourke at last night’s Board of Education meeting, recognizing her long career of professional excellence and dedication to our district. Dr. O’Rourke previously served as interim assistant superintendent for instruction and personnel; executive director of special education/pupil personnel services K-12 and CPSE; executive director of special education; and principal of John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
