East Islip’s youngest students explored many exciting future possibilities during two Career Day events, held at Connetquot Elementary School in April and Timber Point Elementary School in May. Second graders also had the special opportunity to hear from parents who shared insights into their unique professions. The celebrations concluded with students proudly dressing up as their aspiring careers.

“Career Day was such a fun and inspiring experience for our students,” said Katie Scuderi, the school counselor for both K–2 buildings. “I had the opportunity to visit every classroom to talk about different careers and their future goals. It was wonderful to see the excitement and creativity as students dressed up as the careers they imagine pursuing one day. We loved celebrating their interests, goals and big dreams for the future.”
