To kick off P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 13, co-founder Brooke DiPalma visited Connetquot Elementary School to lead an assembly for all second grade classes. During the presentation, DiPalma spoke with students about the importance of kindness and this year’s theme, “Be the Light.” Second graders brainstormed and shared ways they could be a positive light in their school and community.

Throughout the week leading up to P.S. I Love You Day, Connetquot students participated in a variety of activities promoting kindness and positivity. Students wrote kindness grams to friends, shared encouraging messages and created positive self-affirmations. On P.S. I Love You Day, students and staff wore purple to promote kindness and support positive messages throughout the school.

“Thank you to everyone who celebrated this special day with us,” teacher Alyssa Policastro said. “P.S. I Love You Day 2025 was another huge success.”
