As part of the school’s Earth Day celebration, Connetquot Elementary students worked with artist Leslie Sattler from Green Earth Craft to create a mural made from recycled bottle caps. The workshop was organized by the school’s PTA as a hands-on way to incorporate both recycling and fun into a long-lasting art piece that will brighten the halls of Connetquot for many years to come.
