East Islip’s cheer teams started off 2025 with a splash. The East Islip Middle School team, coached by Kate Scuderi, recently took home first place at their final competition of the season, displaying the athletes’ hard work and dedication. East Islip High School’s JV and varsity teams, coached by Jules Keaney, Jamie Richer and Ariel Scharfschwerdt, also had outstanding performances, both earning second place finishes in their divisions.
