Enhancing their understanding of future job opportunities, East Islip High School students attended a Speed Career Search event in the district’s John V. Dolan Building on Sept. 18, hosted by the East Islip School Business Partnership program and coordinated by Bridget Lopiccolo. The attentive students were treated to presentations from a panel of professionals from such businesses as AllState, CBS Sports, LinkedIn, Macy’s, Netter Real Estate, St. James Investment Advisors, Stony Brook Medicine, Suffolk Transportation, Sunrise Counseling Center, Town of Islip, U.S. Army, Valley Bank and Zebra Technology, providing real insights into possible post-school career paths.
