East Islip High School’s 2025 yearbook has been selected for inclusion in Volume 31 of Varsity Yearbook’s distinguished Portfolio, a national showcase recognizing the most outstanding yearbooks produced by the company. As a collection of the top yearbooks printed by Varsity, Portfolio celebrates the dedication, creativity and teamwork that define each staff’s work.

Chosen from more than 1,000 submissions, the honor highlights the publication’s creativity and journalistic excellence. This achievement places East Islip among just 686 schools featured in this year’s edition from across North America.

Guided by teachers Michael Augello and Heather Toomey, the yearbook staff was recognized for producing a book that reflects sustained excellence in writing and visual presentation, comprehensive and meaningful coverage, and exceptional photography.
