East Islip’s student musicians joined forces for the All-District Concert on Feb. 11, held in the East Islip Middle School auditorium on Feb. 11. The evening performance brought together students from multiple schools to perform as one musical community, highlighting the musicians’ growth.

The three featured ensembles were the All-District Orchestra, directed by Katelyn Odierna-Siani and Giovanna Ruggiero and performing “French Folk Song,” “Promenade” and “Samba La Bamba”; the All-District Chorus, directed by Patricia Bryan and Emily MacFadden and performing “A Winter Warning,” “Kindness Sings” and “Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe”; and the All-District Band, directed by Christopher Robertson and James Tucker and performing “Glorioso,” “Allegretto from Symphony No. 7” and “Slip and Slide.”
