East Islip High School’s varsity field hockey team capped off an outstanding season by earning the League 2 Championship, marking another milestone for the program under the leadership of head coach Chris Veit, who celebrated his 20th league championship.

Several players also received postseason honors in recognition of their exceptional performances. Heather Heffernan and Emily Mooney were both named All-County and All-Tournament, while Carly Amato earned All-State and All-Tournament honors. Carli Caliguri was recognized as All-Division, and Brooke McCally received All-Conference Goalie honors. Additional All-Conference selections included Therese Codispoti, Kylie Dickson and Kiersten Klein. Keira Bloch was honored with All-Academic recognition and received the Unsung Hero Award for her contributions to the team.
