East Islip High School’s varsity boys bowling team is off to an amazing start this season. They defeated Islip 32-4 on Dec. 3, with the team shooting an outstanding series of 3,471. East Islip was led by captain Andrew Jacobsen and senior Niko Stavropoulos, who shot 744 and 727, respectively, while captain Brenden Muller added 671 pins on the day.  A newcomer to the lineup, freshman Lucas Lawlor, added 646 pins, while both Lucas Brelsford and Gregg Stephens added 622 pins each.  

“The season promises to be another exciting ride, with the boys in great form,” coach Judith Fischer said.
