East Islip High School’s mock trial team, led by coach Patsy Lester, won the county semifinals against Eastport-South Manor on March 26, and will now compete in the Suffolk County mock trial championship at Suffolk County Surrogate's Court on April 2 at 3 p.m. Spectators are welcome. East Islip’s defense team will face Northport High School’s plaintiff team, and the winner will move on to the statewide finals, to be held May 18-20 in Albany.
