Fifth graders at East Islip’s John F. Kennedy and Ruth C. Kinney elementary schools and their families attended East Islip Middle School’s Music and World Language Night on Jan. 13, held in the middle school's auditorium. Art and Music Director Mark Bernard discussed art electives, while Director of World Languages, ENL and Assessments Christian Seifert explained the school’s world language opportunities.

“We were excited to welcome next year’s sixth graders,” Principal Tara Scully said. “This was just the first of many meetings to come – we will have the parents back in the spring for an orientation.”
