In recognition of Youth Service Month, officers from East Islip High School’s Interact Club were recognized for their outstanding dedication to community service at a special May 17 brunch hosted by the Rotary Club at the Irish Coffee Pub. The event celebrated the students’ leadership, compassion and commitment to making a positive impact both in our school and community. Under the guidance of club adviser Lisa Rapiejko, East Islip’s Interactors have organized and participated in numerous service projects that support local and international causes. The Interact Club empowers students to build leadership skills and experience firsthand how service can make a meaningful difference.
