John F. Kennedy Elementary School came together in a bright show of unity on Oct. 22 to celebrate Unity Day, the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. Students and staff wore orange to symbolize their shared commitment to kindness, acceptance and inclusion.

“It was wonderful to see so many students stand up for each other by wearing orange,” Principal Dr. Deborah Smith said.
