10-year-old Stella Ribando, a fifth grader at East Islip’s John F. Kennedy Elementary School, was recently honored for the second time with a display of her Lego collection at the East Islip Public Library. Since 2017, Ribando has collected and built more than 150 Lego sets. This current exhibition for January 2025 focuses on a “Harry Potter” theme, boasting 28 different detailed sets from Ribando’s collection, including the challenging Gringotts Wizarding Bank set, which is at an adult skill level and contains 4,801 pieces including a moving train track.
