East Islip High School junior Kaylee Carberry was recently honored with the Town of Islip Student Community Service Award, which recognizes student role models who have demonstrated academic excellence and made positive contributions to their community. Carberry is a member of the school’s mock trial team and SADD club, and volunteers with the Exchange Ambulance of the Islips 

“It was a pleasure to see Kaylee’s dedication to service be recognized by Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and the rest of the Islip Town Board,” Principal Anthony Montemarano said. “Keep up the good work!”
