Mentors, Memories and Milestones Mark East Islip NHS Investiture Ceremony

East Islip High School proudly celebrated its annual National Honor Society investiture ceremony this month. Each of the 64 honorees was greeted by a chosen mentor, who presented them with their graduation stole.

Hosted by NHS adviser Nicole Ingram, the event featured the tradition candle lighting ceremony led by students Emerson Gartland, Keira Sheridan, Olivia Stepanenko and Nicholas Walsh, and a memorable closing address from Class of 2026 valedictorian and NHS President Liam Eichler.

“I am incredibly proud of all of our students for their hard work, dedication leadership, service and commitment to excellence throughout this school year,” Ingram said. “These students continue to inspire our school community through their accomplishments both inside and outside of the classroom, and tonight’s ceremony was a celebration of all they have achieved. Congratulations to all of our members, your future is incredibly bright.”
