East Islip High School administrators and guidance counselors welcomed the Class of 2028 at freshman orientation on Aug. 28, introducing them to their new school building and the wealth of opportunities they will have to get involved in school and extracurricular activities.

"We were happy to welcome the Class of 2028 to East Islip High School and look forward to a great school year," Principal Mark Bernard said.

“Freshman orientation has always been one of my favorite events, as it brings new energy into the building and the excitement of great things to come for our incoming class,” said Dr. Jason Stanton, the director of careers and student services.
