From excited elementary school beginners to seasoned senior musicians, students from East Islip’s lauded music program displayed their prowess in the district’s annual spring concert series in May. The performances showcased the excellence and growth of the band, chorus and orchestra ensembles from East Islip High School, East Islip Middle School, John F. Kennedy Elementary School and Ruth C. Kinney Elementary School.

“Our spring concert series was a wonderful display of the hard work and dedication of our students and our teachers,” Director of Art and Music Dr. Rob Wottawa said. “Our performances exemplify teamwork, perseverance and professionalism at all levels; it was an honor to witness our parents and community rise to their feet to provide our children a standing ovation for each performance We are very proud of these tremendous accomplishments.”
