Top 10 Seniors of Class of 2026 Recognized

East Islip High School recognized the top 10 highest ranking academic seniors of the Class of 2026 on the morning of May 18 at a joyous bagel breakfast celebration with administrators and school counselors.

The top 10 include valedictorian Liam Eichler (who will attend Carnegie Mellon University, majoring in architecture and business) and salutatorian Angel Mai (Stony Brook University, pre-nursing), as well as Aadil Ali (Baruch College, accounting), Keira Bloch (University at Albany, public health), Sophia Chillemi (Molly University, nursing), Angelina Codispoti (Stony Brook University, psychology), Jason Engel (Georgia Institute of Technology, business aministration), Viki Li (Stony Brook University/Georgia Institute of Technology, chemical engineering), Olivia Primiano (Stony Brook University, French education and linguistics) and Cailyn Talt (Seton Hall University, biology).

“All of your hard work has paid off, as you represent the top of your class,” Principal Anthony Montemarano told the seniors. “Congratulations and keep up the good work.”
