East Islip High School’s varsity boys track and field team delivered a strong performance at the recent Suffolk County Boys Frosh/Soph Championships. The 400-meter relay squad of sophomores AJ Castiletti, Ethan Fitch, Jon Gordon and Adam Vanostrand earned a third-place medal, while Fitch captured second place in the 600-meter dash.

“The 4x400-meter relay takes heart and trust, and these guys certainly delivered,” coach Robert Skidmore said.
